"Ghost" Cams

Avaliable for the 2011 from Jon Lund @ Evolution Performance. This is just a tune,no cams and the car runs completely stock or the same as a race tune ect.No stuttering or otherwise.Amazing what these new cars can do!

Also avaliable for the 2011 V6

Re: "Ghost" Cams

I just checked the evolution site, can't find anything about that tune anywhere... I'm sure you can ask for it though... I think it's JLT intake plus THAT time

Yeah I understand, just figured it would make sense to get the two together. Yeah I noticed that first vid was uploaded yesterday and he commented on the second vid 4 days ago asking that guy about it lol, so this is probably gonna spread like wildfire throughout the 5.0 community. I'm interested in hearing the v6 cams too.

Ford has definitely perfected this car!

Does anyone know what if any performance gains come from the tune. Obviously it sounds freakin amazing but I am worried about any long term drivability as well.
Just wondering because when it comes to messing with the computer I get very cautious.

Re: "Ghost" Cams

As far as I know there are no gains. Its just add on for the tune you already have. The car in the video has a race tune and he says it drives just like it did before. The cars only sounds cammed at idle and drives normally after that.It is not yet released.
Also this is a Jon Lund tune so it can be trusted.

Well I would think when they re-write the tune and re-work the fuel maps, and getting better exhaust flow which let's more fuel and air get inside faster you would make more power....wouldn't ya. I really can't see re-writing a tune to make the exhaust sound better. Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense to me

I was thinking the same thing but I wasn't sure if he just retards the timing a little to get the cam lobe in idle and then back to normal when driving. The only reason I ask that is someone already said it only effects the idle, your previous tune is what effects your performance.
I hope to find out soon enough. Trying to get it ordered this week .......if the wife allocates money...lol

Re: "Ghost" Cams

Guys, this is a Jon Lund tune from evolution.I dont think he is gonna put anything out there that will harm the computer. From what I read this is just a addition to any tune you get from Evo it can just be added. Also what doesnt makes sense about adding this to change your exhaust note? We spend 3-600 dollars on axelbacks to change the sound with absolutely no gains. IMO it would be nice to have that badass cammed sound without the stutter and shaking of my whole car.

Just an update, spoke to the guys at Evo performance today. They are unsure of the release date for the tune as well as the cost.I guess we will be anxiously standing by.
