+1 for me!

I spoke with Jon Lund today and he is emailing me his new awesome 93 oct ghost cam street tune and a regular 93 oct street tune! I'm super excited! Check out some videos on youtube of the ghost cams. They sound pretty sick!

If you don't mind me asking about how much did it run you and are you going to upload it to an SCT tuner?

He quoted $250 for the 2 tunes. And yes I do plan on using my Xcal3 tuner.

Re: +1 for me!

Lund tunes are ****ing amazing am I sure you will be more than happy with the tune. But for the AM/Bama customers and Bama customers like myself that were grandfathered into the free tunes for life program the ghost cam tune will be free. All you have to do is request it.

Not trying to rain on the parade just thought I would share that for the Bama customers. FWIW....I myself have been thinking of ordering a Lund tune. Post some vids when you can!

It seems like I may have lower gas mileage now from the tune. When its loping it smells kinda rich. I'll let the car get used to the tune for awhile....see I'd she takes it better. Other than that I love the sound of the"cam"

Re: +1 for me!

I know there are no power gains from adjusting the cams but as far as tunes go how does it compare to your Bama tune and also were you running the Bama race tune?

I had a 93 performance tune. This one is a 93 street tune with the ghost cam mod. It feels like more power tho than the bama tune. After all, it's a Lund tune :p. I'll get a dyno and swap tunes to see the difference

Unfortunately I don't think it will be better than a custom dyno tune. Too many variables go into tuning that just can't be done over the Internet. My tuner went as far as adjusting the angle of my CAI to fine tune my car. Little variables have to be done on a dyno.

I'm not denying that fact at all. All i know is this tune is way better that the last one I had. I will one day get a professional dyno tune. Maybe after I throw a twin screw on top lol.

So I recently got 2 tunes from THE Jon Lund and I got a 93 street tune and a 93 street cammed tune. The cam tune worked fine but I tried re flashing with the regular street tune and now my car won't start. It says incorrect vehicle when I try to load another tune and I can't re stock it either. Will detaching the negative battery lead help? Any advice will be appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is exactly what you probably already tried. Disconnect the battery, let the car sit and reset, try and upload the stock tune then go from there. Other than that all I can say is have your dealership reflash the car.

I'm not sure they would do it tho. At least not for free.

Saw on another thread that SCT will send me a recovery file to re flash to stock. I'm pretty sure I have the latest firmware on the device but I'll check anyway

No it was a corruption of the device. Lost the car vin. Its rare but unfortunately it happened....the tunes had nothing to do with it. Just be sure you have the latest firmware update on your devices when u flash your ecu's. AND recommended to flash it when sct is open lol

Ok so I got my dyno and it was lower than I expected....whatever. What pissed me off was that right before I got home the car died....twice! Had a battery light and the oil light (the one that looks like a gravy boat). turned the key off and it started up tho. Checked all connections. None seemed to be loose. Pushed on all relays and fuses but nothing seemed loose. What happened? I have a Jon Lund tune in it right now that I tuned last friday and the sct tuner I have lost the vin and my car wouldn't start at all after. Couldn't even re stock it.
