Post dyno problem

Ok so I got my dyno and it was lower than I expected....whatever. What pissed me off was that right before I got home the car died....twice! Had a battery light and the oil light (the one that looks like a gravy boat). turned the key off and it started up tho. Checked all connections. None seemed to be loose. Pushed on all relays and fuses but nothing seemed loose. What happened? I have a Jon Lund tune in it right now that I tuned last friday and the sct tuner I have lost the vin and my car wouldn't start at all after. Couldn't even re stock it.

Who knows though, some dynos are weird. You might make 410hp on another one

This one was a dyno jet. If I went to the mustang dyno I think it would have been higher

Re: Post dyno problem

Mustang dyno typically reads lower than dynojet...if you're just wanting numbers then tell the operator to change variables and make the numbers you want.

I would recommend contacting the person who tuned the car and explain to them the issues you are having.

So is it not running now? I hope you get it figured out. That could be bad.

No its running. It started up each time it died. Kinda seems like the engine just stalled out. I was slowing to a stop and put it in neutral like I always do and as I turned the corner to give it gas I realized it was not running. I had the radio on loud so I wouldn't have heard it die.

...and this could be the 'down side' of monkeying/modifying /programming the stock ECM.. (`Not that I am 'wishing' problems on anyone -nor, am I advocating just leaving a vehicle stock, either...) That's a bummer. I would also be questioning the 'source'/tuner, and give them an 'earful' , regarding your experience(s)..!!
