Well, guess I'm getting a new bumper after all. Had a slow moving tractor pull out in front of me. 1) didn't look while changing lanes, 2) no hand gestures, and 3) no reflective signage indicating a slow moving vehicle. They were trying to say it was my fault. Until I broke out my dash cam video. It never lies!!!

Sorry for you bad luck, you really have a dash cam recording all the time? Well, time for an upgrade.

Yeah, been involved in 1 other accident where the guy totally lied about the story and I was stuck paying $1,500 to fix my truck. My wife had something similar happen and I got tired of it. Even this guy tried to say it was my fault until I broke out the video to show police. He clammed up really quick. It's a pretty simple setup.

Ha, funny. That's what the cop said. Had it for 2 years in my F250. Had to find something mobile so it could go from my vehicle to my wife's. Most setups were fixed mounted in car DVRs. But the cost of it will pay off in this incident. The other party was trying to make up a story that didn't fit with the video. I really hate liars and they will learn from this. If it wasn't for the video it would be a he said she said scenario and I'd just be screwed.

I agree its a great idea. If it wasn't, police officers wouldn't have them on when ever they talk to someone. What is the amount of storage on it, or do you just record over everyone you drive?

It is 150 GB HD with and has an external SD expansion slot. I just record every time I drive. When it runs out of space it is FIFO but have the ability to lock scenes an it records in HD. After this it will defiantly be worth it.

That's awesome, an if it really were a racing cam it would have to face backwards in our cars

Really? I'll have to look into that because I saw one on a forum that was converted with the lower fascia and everything but it was a clone not the real thing.

LMR is having the graphics made for them by a local vinyl shop. I asked them to buy some and this is what i was told. This is when I found nothing else was available as well. This was about a month or so ago so some things might have changed.

Looking at it some more the rear diffuser looks just like a GT500 with a piece added.

Because of the mobility the unit was more expensive than an in-car mount. Was $600 for camera and unit. Well worth it when the cost of this repair is $900.

And check this out. I swear some just don't take the time to properly mount a bumper. GRR!!! I have gaps by the lights. The dealer said the bumper should be perfect and shouldn't have these.

Yeah, if warped and doesn't fit right I am going to ask for a new one. And get this, they knew they weren't going to be putting the plate on the bumper so they didn't fill in the holes for the plate. Just small things that separate the good from the great.

I wonder, they found a paint defect while polishing but had to repaint part and bake again. Wonder if the second baking warped the bumper? Either way, their problem to solve. I paid for a bumper I was told would line up.

The stripes were a dealer addon. Never thought I'd like flat black against red but once I saw it, it made the car look menacing.
