Jlt intake?

Is this a good intake? I'm looking to add a flash and intake but looking for good stuff. However don't have a huge budget. $700 -800 for both I figure.
Thanks guys

This was the same package I ordered but financial hard times prevented the sale from going through. JLT was rated the best CIA by 5.0 magazine out of like 10 CAI's a few years back. I found the article online & I'm sure you can too if you're interested. HP increase was around 12 or so just throwing the CIA into the car WITHOUT the tune. You're going to be a monster on the road with the right tune & that CIA. Take some pics when you have everything in!

Re: Jlt intake?

So did you get the JLT? If so are you happy with it? I just picked up a new 2010 gt premium at my local Ford dealer and am very happy with the car but would like to look at some minor upgrades. let us know.

Not to steer away from the JLT convo, but on the subject of intakes....I'm in the market for one for my 2010 GT. Ones that "require" tunes....is it necessary to do for the car to run well at all, or can u just "plug and play"? Also wondering if it voids factory warranty.

There are plenty of cai's out there that do not require a tune, but the ones that do look like they will provide much more hp. It looks like the jlt you are looking at along with a bama tune will be around 20 to 30 hp where as just the cai alone is around 10 or less. I am so torn between getting a cai with a tune and 3.73 gears or just bitting the bullet and having the ford joint toss in a supercharger. My 2010gt is brand new with only 700 miles on it so I don't want to mess with warranty issues but everyone here makes it sound that a cai and tune wont void warranty. I wish I could drive a gt with a cai and tune and see if it is much of a difference. Ford will honor warranty as long as they do the work on most everything or at least thats what it sounds like.

Gotcha....I have the money and want quality....and yea, warranty voiding makes me nervous. But on the other hand I'm heading with my mustang to England for 3 years on military orders. I wonder if I should even care
