07, Sport Package. I haven't done anything to it yet, been focusing the $$$ elsewhere. It'll likely get a CAI, exhaust, intercooler, and tune this fall.

You have too many cars already. Just quit thinking about it! I know you aren't selling the GN!

If I sold anything, I'd sell the 96 Cobra to help get the GT500......I've got too much time and $$$$ in the GN to sell it......I'd also have to put it back together first

I love Roush. Our local dealership is a Shelby dealership.

Man, i'd love a GT500.

I fell in love with the new BOSS, though. I'd probably spend my $ on that... Competition Orange.

I'd rather build my 07 from the ground up personally. More fun & I get to hand pick what parts go into my beautiful 'Stang.

I think it's a different feeling running your hands over the car & knowing that you personally selected most of the parts to go into it. Kind of like studying fine bottles of wine costing in excess of $1,000 a bottle. You just have a feeling that you're going to end up with something outstanding after adding each & every part 1 piece at a time!

Agreed I would rather do that any day, but if I did buy a boss I would just keep it stock and have fun. Then get another car to mod the heck out of.

They may be in their midlife crisis.....but they are sitting on enough HP to outrun 98% of cars on the highway at their beckon call

Too bad they are too old to put that HP to any good use after buying the Vette. Old farts in Vette's don't haul @SS around these parts, they usually do the speed limit or 5 under so it leaves an impression that they should have purchased the car that was truly meant for them; a f*ckin' Buick.

LOL! Yeah, and they all seem to buy automatics. So when you go looking for a used one that seems to be the only ones on the lot. But even if I had one they are just bulls-eyes for the cops when looking for a speeder.

Most of the doods I know that have `Vettes-drive them, like they were meant to be driven. The two at my workplace-are both owned by someone 'older than in their twenties/thirties', and neither is having a midlife crisis. One is a Z06 with a standard, and the other guy prefers an automatic. In a large metropolitan area, with lots of traffic-I do not begrudge another for having an automatic-that's their personal preference . I've had both-myself. When you are able to purchase a Corvette-especially a new one-you can also afford one...

It's only natural to get a little off topic.....it happens, but let's not get way off the main subject here. We want everyone to enjoy the thread topic without having to scroll through a ton of post that don't pertain to the subject at hand.

You can have them. You will not like the price. You can get others that are as nice cheaper.

One place quoted me $1800 for the set.

Unless something changed in the Boss PCM, they aren't revving anything to 8000 rpm either.

but, but, but....Ford and lethal, and the internet told me they were.
