New hood and paint job

I have my eye on the Cervini ram air hood....almost $700 tho thru american muscle. Its pretty sweet looking. And I was thinking of painting my spoiler black and getting a wide black racing stripe on the passenger side with a smaller stripe close to the middle all the way back. What yall think?

If I understand the stripe will be offset with a smaller finishing stripe? Kinda like the Rally cars is what I am picturing. I assume the reason is because you don't want to look like every other mustang?
If I'm correct with my assumptions then I say go for it. I'm not a fan of a single offset but it can be done tastefully. If your going to paint the spoiler black different from the car I would just go with a Mach 1 theme

You are correct about me wanting to have an original look to my pony as far as the mach 1 theme how do you mean? I also may get back window louvers..... Maybe

The Mach 1 has the black chin spoiler, black rear spoiler, and obviously the shaker. If you are getting louvres then a Boss scheme would be cool too although with the new Boss coming out maybe not so different anymore.
I say think outside the box, if your going to get the car painted do something no one else will ever have like a special two tone or side stripe. Everyone has rally and racing stripes

Re: New hood and paint job

I'm not the biggest fan of back window louvers but I don't mind the side ones.

I think stripes would look good if you do them right. Don't do the Le Mans racing stripes, but the old rally look would look good. Post pics when you're done. The Cervini Hood would look good, too.

I think it will be hard to do offset stripes over the cervini ram air hood unless you're having them painted on professionally

I dint know why but I love the double le mans stripes look awesome, it's all personal preference though, if you can make your offset stripes work then go for it
