Last time I bought some it was just over $6/gal. I'm sure it's much higher during the summer though.

E85 could be nice if the fuel system could support enough volume

Re: Hellion Turbo info

A/F on this car was 11.5 not 12.5. Not quite sure why there are so many anti-BBR folks in here... LOL. BBR actually replicated those numbers from what Hellion originally made. So they basically just backed it up.

LOL

So many people like to bash based on no good reason.

I swear, some people just don't like them b/c of their name. it's not as cool and catchy as others. LOL

Just my $.02

Says the BBR employee....

Didn't this car have 47 lb injectors? Do you have a dyno graph showing the AFR at 11.5 at 7000+ rpm?

Re: Hellion Turbo info

52# GT500 Injectors and yes, I do have a dyno graph. I'll have Chris, the tuner, pull them out of archives.

The 553hp 603 tq at 9psi was 11.5-11.6 across the board.

The 653 hp 730 tq at 15 psi was at 11.5 until 5,200 rpm, when the duty cycle of the stock fuel system was maxed out and he had let out to avoid catastrophic failure. But I'll get you those dyno graphs.

I knew he could keep the AFR in check at 553 hp, but you made is seem like he was keeping 11.5 at 653 hp, which most of us know isn't possible on 47lb injectors.

Re: Hellion Turbo info

I see what you're saying. Poor wording on my behalf. We are going to be adding our new 2011+ JACKAL Fuel System onto the test car which will include 80# injectors and our new single pump drop in billet hat assembly which will allow for the fuel system to be rated for over 1000 rear wheel horsepower. Once we get that in and we will retune it and it'll be steady and will allow for the car to rev to 7,000+ rpm and make power.... Then we'll just have to see how long the stock motor will hold together. LOL
