Shout out to Ford Customer Service

The other week I took my car in for a tire repair because I ran over a nail, and the dealer scratched my rim. Talked to the service manager and he said he would talk to his tire guy and give me a call in the morning. I didnt receive a call so I called him in the evening, no reply. I tried calling everyday with no response from him so I went to Ford Customer Service and filed a complaint after a week. Within an hour of filing a complaint the dealer called me up and said my new wheel was in and ready for installation.

ROCK ON FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE for maintaining dealer integrity

Good stuff..

That is how after 6 trips to dealer I got them to look at my random misfire on cylinder number 2. Car had less then 1k miles on it.

At least your dealer did something whenever they got a complaint filed against them......mine did nothing and that's why it went under....tha and the owners massive cocaine addiction...

Re: Shout out to Ford Customer Service

The chain of command-at a dealership-can work well, also. Most General Managers, do not want unhappy, unsatisfied customers..

Re: Shout out to Ford Customer Service

The saying goes; "The squeaky wheel gets oiled first" if I recall.

I had a problem with the local Ford Dealership installing my key-less entry system through a contracted shop. I had to go back & forth between the shop & dealership 6 times before I finally walked up to a sales manager & told him flat out that I had a 30 day money back guarantee & if he didn't get off his @$$ & get my request taken care of, the truck was parked on the lot for return. Low & behold my key-less entry was installed that day but the idiot j-holes at the contracted company didn't even install & sync the remotes correctly.

Sometimes you just can't fix stupid & big companies. I also had a boss get his truck serviced by the same dealership & the next day someone drove out to his house in the boonies and broke into it. The only way the car alarm could be deactivated on the truck he had was if someone pushed a button from inside of the cab where the alarm was located. No wires were cut or removed to disarm the alarm. This also goes to show that service techs at any dealership can be absolute low-lives. Keyword is SOME, not all.
