Eibach pro-kit question

Do I have to do anything else to my 5.0 when adding the pro-kit? I'm really not worried about performance or cornering AT THE MOMENT but eventually down the road will probably do more suspension work... So basically will everything be ok if I just switch out my springs for now to get the stance I want? Or will it cause short or long term problems? Appreciate any info

the only issues you are looking at is scraping (due to being lower) you may be ok but something you have to keep on your mind... like parking and not pulling up on curbs.

Second would be alignment, might be fine might not... if you are not you will have to spend extra for items to fix the alignment like C/C plates.

I'm kinda dumb when it comes to suspension.. What exactly do caster/camber plates do and what do they usually run? Other than that though i should be good to go until I'm ready to do more later? Do I have to replace shocks or anything?

You just need an alignment. I lowered with the pro-kit and had no camber mods necessary. Added my before/after alignment. Long term, you're stock shocks/struts will wear out faster. Just replace when wear out.

Re: Eibach pro-kit question

Lowering is going to make the rear end off center just a tad. It is barely noticeable but if you are anal about things or a perfectionist then you will want to get a adjustable panhard bar to fix that. Also, the stock shocks will be just fine unless you expect your Mustang to ride like a Cadillac which alot of first time mustang owners do.
