I just got done dropping a grand on some odds and ends.

Roush rear valence
Eleanor style grille
Rear passenger luvars
Rocker panel splitters
Floor and trunk mats
And my personal fav ford racing k lowering springs

This will keep me busy for a week n then perhaps I will do some hood shopping

Might be a dumb question but what keeps the wire on the hood pins from flopping in the wind and rubbing paint off?

If I read right they lock into the pins that are installed under the hood. I'm not sure about rubbing paint off.

I've always loved the way they looked but always wondered about the rubbing.

I'm not saying it will but I don't see how a wire in highway speeds or hitting bumps in the road wouldn't vibrate.

I agree with that. Maybe I'll ask my shop guy. He does a ton of mustang mods.

If I am not mistaken the lanyard that attach to the pins are coated in a plastisol or rubbery substance so u don't have metal cable bradding on paint

You're right it is... The only thing that messes up is the metal part that touches the part that go's on the hood... Or that's all that I have had trouble with
