Front Tire Size

Now that I've figured a rear size I planned to run 255/35R20 on the front until I noticed the GT500 has 265/40R19 on the front. 20's on rear but 19's on front. Odd look but it works. So I wondered if I could stuff a 265/35R20 up front rather than a 255/35R20 without rubbing issues with my pro-kit lowering springs? Anyone have thought or concerns?

Re: Front Tire Size

What's the reason for stepping the front tires up?

More grip? Was more curious than really thinking about it. It was interesting to see the gt500 with the 265 up front. I know more rubber == more weight. So wondered what you guys thought. If I recall correctly most are 255.

If you arent gonna be doing Auto X I personaly dont see the point in going any wider. Bigger in the rear...yes,to plant that power to the ground but a 255 up front is just fine IMO. I mean if you arent gonna take advantage of it whats the point. Amrite?

This. No reason to have huge tire in front.

I would try to go with the same size all around so you can rotate your tires.

True. Hence why I asked the question on here. I'll stick with 255's. Thanks!
