Re: Brembo package Vs. After market products

Napolean85, as I was reading your post I noticed something else.. I double checked and the calipers that come with the Brembo package are 4 piston, not 6....

Thanks for the "thank you"...

Re: Brembo package Vs. After market products

The BREMBO PACKAGE is more than just the Brakes and Wheels, it also includes different Front and Rear Springs and different Struts and Shocks. Also has bigger Front and Rear Sway Bars. SO IT'S WELL WORTH THE EXTRA $1,500...trust me you couldn't buy and install all this on a standard GT for that price. My opinion is , BUY IT !
I love it on my car and I am proud to say that I call this package "the poor man's BOSS".

Poor men don't have a "boss" (sorry couldn't resist) the boss is more about the acceleration/handling... Not the brakes

Re: Brembo package Vs. After market products

yeah I like the package from the dealer and it is well worth it with stop and go traffic and of course the high speed curves going around mountains. The lowering kit i bought will only add onto the already good handling package

LOL.. Thats true! Poor man is as poor man does. However the Brembo package is also about HANDLING, as I already pointed out. I love the Boss, but its NOT worth $15Gs MORE then what i have in acceleration.

What good is acceleration/handling if you cant get the car to stop properly? Good brakes are very important.

Re: Brembo package Vs. After market products

I'm with Dan... My first mod on the 07 427R was brakes...
