yeah i dont think the price diff is 30k, the new 392s are going for about 50-60 because people are stupid and will pay over sticker since there are a limited release. If your not planning on modding everything go with the boss. If you are going to mod just get a Gt you can get better aftermarket suspension and engine mods then what comes on the boss

I agree go with a base gt with brembo Pak, 3.73,s, and the sync and ele tronics Pak. U can custom every thing else to ur liking. And mod the he'll out of it!!

there are only like 2 options on the boss, one being the recaros. are you talking canadian prices? bc in the us even with mark up i havent seen one go for that much. the mark ups ive seen have been 5k max

I am taking it as a loaded Boss you are talking about the Boss Leguna Seca edition. 65K is about what it is with mark ups in the states also.

I agree I think the white top is ugly, especially with a black spoiler and black wheels. Of course I'm all about keeping everything uniform.

40? No need bro I have a 95 and there isn't a car being made that can touch me. I'm over 20000 into it, and bought the car for 6800 bone stock.

So really you have a 30,000 dollar car that will out perform any car you can pretty much think off. Andddd it's a Mustang

No, it doesn't have a thing to do with jealousy. We may be jealous that we don't have a Boss, but the reason that we try to convince people to preserve them is out of respect for the Boss racing heritage and the rarity of the car. This is not a new phenomenon ... look at how many classic cars were hacked up and now not worth nearly as much as the unmolested cars.

If you want something to hack up or put a bunch of tacky mods on, feel free to buy a Mustang GT ... there are hundreds of thousands made and they are nothing special. If you want a special edition car that deserves to be respected by preserving it's condition, then buy a Boss.

In addition to this...why pay the premium for a boss when you want to change what makes it a boss in the first place so it just ends up being a boss in vin number only? Makes no sense.

I would be carefull saying perform better then anything you can think of.

There are plenty of 700whp+ vettes/GT500's/03-04 Termi's. And then there is all them pesky UGR Lambo's that make 1300-1500whp. Not to mention GTR's.

So this car so strong what it run? whats done to it?

You ever seen any cars like this? I see the odd Vette maybe a Terminator. And I can't run it cause I don't have a cage, I ran it once 2 years ago with 480 rwhp and they told me not to come back hahahaha. Fully built 347 all forged internals with a pro charger. Safe tune of 12 psi, 650 rwhp on pump gas. I could make 700 plus if I want to. But as I said there aren't to many cars around, last time I raced it I toyed with an R8.

I have a bunch cars like that around me. I know 3 termi's that make 650-750whp. One is being rebuilt to make 1000whp. 2 TT Z06's. A M3 that makes right at 700whp. 3 EVO 8's that make over 650awhp, A eclipse that makes over 600awhp and runs mid 10's on street tires with no cage. leats 2 GT500's that are around me that make over 650whp also. Then the is a new camaro SS that makes aroudn 660whp. about 4-6 Z06 or C6 vettes that make 500-650whp all motor. O have watched some these cars destroy bikes. Then if go south to Austin/Houston San Antonio the cars get even faster. That is where UGR lives. I could keep going on but I think I have proved my point.

I raced a 2V mustang that had a procharger. He lost..If was pretty fun.

I would race you when my car is back together. I will go 9's on spray and mid 10's N/A. I will also have a cage.

Also who cars how much they paid or have in it. That is ricer racing. The faster car wins period.

But now you going to tell me you can beat all these cars? Cause you could come down and race with them. SOme them actually race for as much as we have in our cars. Watched a guy lose 5k. He thought his 800whp Z06 was faster then a guys 700whp EVO. It wasn't. The EVO was good for 8's in the 1/4. I don't play with them...LOL

When you buy a special edition, then remove the design cues that make it a special edition (hood, rims) and then remove the engine improvements (boss intake to be replaced by a whipple)....that's hacking it up. Why pay the extra money when you aren't keeping anything about it boss? IF you want the boss interior, buy a GT and get the interior and save money.

Put the extra MSRP cost and dealer mark up towards the mods you want to do on a GT which has the same motor.

I'm all for making the car your own. I have an 03 cobra...I changed the rims to something I think are better than stockers. But when people put a cowl hood on the car it destroys the car. It's no longer a cobra. It's now no different than a GT with a cowl hood and cobra body kit. Just happens to have the cobra drive train. Kills the look and mystique of the car.

This would be a reason to stick a 3.6L KB on it.
