I know there is a few people on Modular and S197 that have warranties denied cause of tunes/cold air. All for engine not tranny.

Well I havent even hit 3K yet so if I do end up with a tranny issue Im hoping it will be fixed without any problems.

Yea I'm around 2,900 miles as well... Don't really have time to drive the Mustang as much as I want. I have another DD but my tranny seems good so far

You have to think of the GT to Boss ratio. There is a lot more GT's out there which means the odds of one of them messing up compared to the Bosses through the roof.

Re: It begins....

I have friends with Boss models who have had this issue, too. It is not only the GT or v6 models that are effected by this transmission issue.

A better transmission fluid will alleviate a majority of these issues, so if you are worried about yours, I would consider flushing your transmission with and using RoyalPurple Synchromax:Royal Purple Synchromax Mustang Manual Transmission Fluid at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping!

I'm just saying ... I doubt they would pass up the chance to have solid proof to pass the buck if you lost #8 down the road.

Is this official information from Ford or just from experience with this particular issue?

I know a few guys that have put Redline 75w-90 in their tranny and now have had no issues.
