Brembo spare & Jack ?

I know the Brembo cars only have a mobility kit but I'm also missing shack and tire iron. Is this normal? I would think they would still give you a jack and tire iron.

Re: Brembo spare & Jack ?

great question, I knew they didnt include a spare but I would also assume they would give a jack.. I guess they dont since you have no "reason" to jack up the car since you have no spare lol

Re: Brembo spare & Jack ?

as you have probably come to the conclusion of already but there is no jack you are expected to pump your tire up enough to get you to a tire joint to have it repaired. You should also find your security lugs and your security lug remover for all your wheels check to make sure you have that because if you don't ford has to do an outline of it and send it in to get the remover manufactured...that would suck if you didn't have it and you had a flat

Re: Brembo spare & Jack ?

That's funny, why even bother giving us the security lugs and remover. How am I supposed to use them, if you give me none of the tools.

Just ford trying to save money.. They prolly figure you won't have a need to get it off till you get to the tire shop since there's no spare.. And obviously they will have the tools and just need your wheel lock key..

Just like on gm trucks.. They used to have a "chmsl" wire at the back of the truck for when you put camper shells on and what not you can tap into the brake light since the turn signal and brake light are the same light in the taillight.. But since the newer body they quit doing that.. They did however run a 12v wire to the rear in the 7-way connector BUT they dont put a fuse in it.. Save 15-50 cent here and there really adds up on so many vehicles sold..

---------- Post added at 06:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:09 PM ----------

The 12v wire being for a dome light or something if the sort..

Wow no jack and spare tire.. Does the car come with run flats? If not that's BS. I'd take it back. Porsche's come with HUGE brakes and have spares. A $40000 car with no spare. What a joke and rip off

Spare tires are deaf weight only time u r going to need one is if u wear ur tires down so far before replacing them u deserve to be stranded to conclude u over fill ur tire by about ten pounds with a slow leaker u can make it 20 miles at least I'm not sweating small sh*t

Wow u must have caught an edge in the pothole. To this day I have had the occasional nails m other metals in my tires but I have not had a blow out like that and I change my tires all the time when they are 1/4 of an inch off the wear bar. I haven't been impressed with spares since 95 when my crown Vic had a full size spare. People usually do more damage with a spare due to the idea that they don't understand to keep it off the power wheels due to wearing out cv joints or rear axle bearings. Plus don't I have road side assistance on that car

Made a quick edit didn't read ur post thoroughly

But then again I don't have a lot of faith in the soft ply tire they aren't meant to take much other then smooth black top

That's the asinine man. Your car weights 2 tons... What's 20lbs in a street car, with the crumbling infrastructure in our country you never know. I've had blow out(s), and complete caps come off radial tires. The guy who rides his tires to the wear indicators does not 'deserve' a flat tire either, who says **** like that anyway??

So what if you wake up with a flat? You pay someone to tow you? You go through the hassle of taking it off, go get it changed , while your ride chills out on the jack/stands? Right.. Have fun when it happens, not if, but when. No need to reply as I'll be unsubscribed from this thread, and please please don't PM.

wow no sense of humor sorry to cause such a bad mood to the thread hope you don't hold a little sarcasm against me with a little truth, i was just brought up that if your going to travel highway speeds on your tires you don't want to be running them on the wear bars my apologizes forcominig off a little too blunt with it. As for caps coming off radials I don't know what to tell you that sounds defective to me doesn't sound like it was anyone's fault. Essentially what I am saying is I sleep well at night and I do it without a spare tire in my trunk. I know you have unsubscribed from the thread so I don't expect you to read this but be aware I made a sincere effort to try to meet you in the middle and drop the crap.
