Torque Converter

I'm looking for some info. This is my first auto car so there has defiantly been a little bit of a learning curve. I'm looking into getting a new converter. Just wanted opinions on which to go with, how much stall, and how is it for just driving around town? It's just my "weekend" car but I still do more then track it so curious on how it affects normal driving.

Re: Torque Converter

Only 1 way to go. Circle D. They are the best guys with these new trannies Ford and Gm have out.

Circle D Specialties Performance Torque Converters

If you go with a 3000-3200 stall you might not really notice it. As in it will not be to bad. You just have to raise the rpms a little more before start moving.

Now you want to go real big you will notice it more. Buddy dries his 4300 stalled 2011 5.0 auto everyday. A stall/gears/tune is the best thing can do with an auto.

tune and stall, wheels /gears and a cage.

11.3 my buddies car. I was in the lane next to him and broke my tires lose.

He runs 4.30 gears. A lot of the auto guys are running steep gears. Specially shop cars. Which have been the fastest ones.
