Catbacks! Recommendations?

I'm looking at purchasing a catback for my 2012 gt

I was curious to know if I swapped out the exhaust with one if I would need a tuner so my vehicle doesn't throw codes.

And any recommendations?
I've seen flowmaster with hushpowers for 629$ any good?

Appreciate the advice/help fellas!

I have the Hushpower cat back and I like it. A cat back will not make you need a tune. It is louder then what people think. I know mine is louder then the magnaflow attak cat back.

Loud as in people can hear me from all around?

I want a decent sounding, louder than stock exhaust with more of a v8 deep rumble.

Is there any drone on the highway around 2000 rpm with the hushpowers?

I can't really say if there is drone with the cat back by its self. As I have headers and x pipe. Here is my car at the track and on the dyno.

I have the hushpowers and yea there is a lil bit of drone.. But honestly doesn't bother me a bit.. I've had vehicles w turn down 40 & 50 series flowmasters and SLP loudmouth IIs.. The drone is nothing compared to those mufflers.. If you want no drone at all and something that's not crazy loud or raspy and a lot better than stock go w gt500s.. If you plan on going w an offroad xpipe then check out YouTube video roush vs hushpower vs gt500..

I have the Borla S-Type cat back with the x pipe that comes with it and all i can say is WOW... Plus 0 drone. Is a bit more expensive but well worth it.
