GT 500 axlebacks with a h-pipe Question.

Im about to order gt500 axle backs from AM. Maybe in a month or so I want to get an h pipe to go along with it. Do I need to get a whole catback system in order for it to fit? or Can I just get any h pipe and replace the factory part and be done with it?

I saw that thread. I was still unsure.

After viewing lethal's website, I thought I understood that the diameter of the pipes was larger than that of the pipes on the stock 5.0.

Correct me if I'm retarded haha

Some of them are, but will fit up since the pipe is tapered at the end.

The key thing is to stay away from the shorty x or h pipes, those are for lt header installs, the rest bolt up to the stock manifolds or shorty headers.

Re: GT 500 axlebacks with a h-pipe Question.

If you buy a off road h pipe you do not need a whole cat back. All you need below.
