That is funny.... considering I just sold my M3. I bought a 3rd brake light decal that reads "M3 Killer" for the 5.0... now I just need to get off my *** and order the parts to back up the claim

You may not "kill" them, but you would certainly surprise a few, even in your stock form.

What options do you have for parts/tunes over there? I assume they have similar fuel choices (87/89/93 octane) over there?

Actually, we dont have any selection... on post. Either E10 or Super Plus 95. I can go off post to a shell station and all the way up to 110 but that is almost 3 euros a liter or 15 dollars a gallon

Re: Some New Pics

Sounds better than what we have stateside then, assuming that Super Plus 95 is 95 octane. What's E10? I'm not surprised that 110 is that expensive, that's race fuel lol!

E10 is 10% Ethanol........ Cars older than 2004 cannot use it. In the states there is E85 which I believe is "Bio Fuel"

E85 is 85% Ethanol. A lot of "normal" gas in the US is 10-15% ethanol as it stands (and yes, it has caused issues with older cars).

Re: Some New Pics

As far as the other part of your question about parts or tunes.... NONE. I can only order parts online from the states which is seriously causing me some grief. Things like rims and tires, exhausts and other large items are really hit and miss as to who can ship what to the APO (Army Post Office). Everything must be shipped via USPS and most distro centers only ship UPS. When I do find someone that can ship to the APO.... it is usually a price premium. AM is really good about that though so I will more than likely order mostly through them.... unless any vendors on the site chime in????

That's a shame to hear. You would think that something so popular to military people would have broader support for shipping to APO addresses.

I checked the LRS site and they had this to say:
Quote:
APO/FPO Shipments

Latemodel Restoration Supply supports our armed services by providing FREE FREIGHT to APO/FPO addresses on most orders. Some conditions apply.

To receive free shipping to your APO/FPO address please place your order using our phone lines at (254)296-6690, APO/FPO orders placed via the web cannot be guaranteed free shipping.
BBR:
Quote:
All APO, FPO, and PO Boxes will ship USPS.
Partscheap is a but unclear on their shipping policies.

I'm sure I'm leaving a few out, but it seems like most of the major vendors are pretty APO friendly. Who were you having problems with?

Re: Some New Pics

Smaller items like tuners, CAI, Hood Scoops and the like are usually no problem.... large items on the other hand.....

You bet, they were painted. I did not do them myself, but rather a local shop. The paint is NQ Yellow Blaze.

I bought them that way from Ford Racing. I actaully went through my dealer.

Ford Racing Performance Parts

There is another guy on the forum that has his painted. All I recall is that he had a Grabber Blue Pony.
