How the heck do u get it off it just keeps turning for me and won't come up

Weird......I just unscrewed mine when I replaced it with a shorty. I actually almost left the dealer without a antenna and when I pointed it out to the salesman he said,"Oh ****" then reached over and unscrewed the one off the Roush that was sitting up front and put it on mine,lol.

I had a shorty brake once before are there very durable ones

The one on my 07 broke as well. The newer (2010-2012) ones are made totally different and stronger. Guess you just have to be very careful.

would on of those screw in on a 06, don't thing they will just wondering
