19" or 20"???

I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not there is a significant performance loss in going with 20's over 19's? Also, for the guys with aftermarket wheels, I was wondering if you could put the sizes you have and the offsets..thanks!

As long as you dont go with some big stupid *** chrome rims not really. The thing is also tires for 20" rims will be cheaper.

Re: 19" or 20"???

I personally have never been a big fan of really big chrome wheels on mustangs and camaro's and such. I wanted to do a machine and black combo but I don't want to sacrifice too much performance by putting some 20x10's on the back. Another thing I hate is when the wheels aren't close to the edge of the body lines, that's why I asked the question about the offsets.

Re: 19" or 20"???

I'm running 20x9 front and 20x10.5 out back and they are still tuck inside. As long as your rear offset is 45 in will be inside the fender. Up front once you get under a 30 offset it going to start to go pass the fender.

I run 19x 8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears. I mainly bough them cause they was cheap. Maybe later down the road I buy the 20" ones I want. Just not ready to drop 600+ per rim.

Yea I saw your wheels and they are very nice! Do you have them staggered or are they the same all the way around? If you can do you mind taking a pic from the rear of your car? Thanks for the input.
