Re: Opinions..

Problem is that with tru flame, you really need to have it airbrushed on for it to have a great effect. The vinyl for tru flame is a huge sticker (yuck) where as the old school style flames are die cut (just the flames themselves). I get bored with stuff easily (6 cars in the last 3 years) and I do not want to commit to an airbrushed flame job where I am stuck with it. Vinyl is easily removed and gives me the option of doing something different every year if I want.

I do agree though, tru flame looks the best.

I think I am going to go with the flames I photo shopped in the first picture. If I dont like it, I can take it off and only be out 100 bucks + installation and removal costs.

These graphics look really cool. my first thought was if they were to start just in front of the wheel in the shape of a horse and broke into those same exact flames.. My $.02

Pretty cool idea, now if you can draw something like that up, I can see if they can custome make it. I am not that artistically talented

Lol my wife has a bachelors, major in fine art minor in graphic. We have a new baby so not much time for that kind of thing. When I looked at it I actually took a double to make sure it wasn't already like that. I think you are the right track IMO..
You are seriously looking for a design to try? 

That is pretty sick. Lots work in that paint job. There is a 5th Gen Camaro SS almost like that. But don't look as good cause it is yellow.

The side is too much. I'd make the roof, all of the trunk/wing, and only the cowl on your hood red. Then get a blackout panel for the decklid.

I like it, no skulls though. Maybe lighten up the red so the flames are ghosted?

Sweet, I'm a fan of the spears for obvious reasons. I had mine painted on (NQ Yellow Blaze). See the link in the signature for more pics. Look forward to seeing it when it's all done!

That is smooth, sure wish I could tint the windows. It is illegal in Germany to tint the fronts.

I have searched high and low.... no one does. There are however several places that will custom make whatever you want

I hope the pinstriping is cleaned up, and the Mustang on the hip becomes aligned with your stripes so it doesn't look offset (so the stripes pull your eye to the wording)
You know the stripe on the rear valence right above the taillights on the 70s Mach 1? That in red might look interesting with 5.0 wording. Just a thought
