Opinions..

This is just a random pic of a Black 5.0 I downloaded from the internet and I did a crap job with Photoshop to add the flames.... I get bored easily so the flames would just be vinyl... they have "ghost Skulls" imbedded. What do you think? Yay?, Nay?

Re: Opinions..

I like the flames and the graphic stripes.

Do a Google search for Real Flames and True Flames decals.
There are some nice looking choices out there.

True... but flames were around on old classic muscle WAY before rice was even thought of. Was thinking we might need to reclaim the flames....

true..that being said, they were flames that went across the whole front of the body. not just out of the fenders. I don't mind flames if they keep the hot rod look but when they are down on the fenders it just looks tacky and not very well thought through

Those are real Boss rims. I would rock them if some one gave them to me. Or sold them at a great price.

I wouldn't. I'd sell them. I think they are hideous. Might as well throw some spinners on them

Nay. Flames on muscle cars are as overplayed as altezza civic lights to me.

If I was to do flames. They would be a red pearl ghost flames. Only when the light hits them right would they show up.

You see it in a lot of older hot rods. I remember going to super chevy shows when I was little with my dad. 10,000+ cars at 1 show that lasted 3-4 days. Drag racing, car show burn out contest all kinds of stuff. You see paint schemes like this every where. That or hidden skulls in the paint. All kinds of nice stuff.

Love those little details, I wish I could make them! Trying to find a professional auto painting class in AZ and no luck, and the colleges have been filled up since may, it sucks!

Re: Opinions..

Just want to do something different.... there are a ton of Mustangs, there are a ton of Black Mustangs, there are a ton of Black mustangs with stripes and accents... I have not seen any with flames. My original plan was to do something like this and I found a vinyl shop to make it almost exactly that way

okay... i like it for all you haters, just make the flames a bit thicker!
Plus true fire is something you might want to look into. I, for one, absolutely love it.

That would look great.
I agree with you, you see Mustangs striped in almost every possible way and configuration, but close to 0 with flames or something different.
Besides if it is put on with decals you can always remove it later if your tastes change.

If you have any artistic talent, you might want to try this.

true fire is a more realistic fire, you can get some pretty sick skulls with it too, like this
