Well driving in my car today had to give it some throttle and then clack, clack, clack done LOL, I guess with all my upgrades I should have upgraded that too LOL all well my new eaton 31 spline differential is ordered through Brenspeed and will be here by Friday or Saturday! It was fun while it lasted but just a matter of time with power upgrades?

Re: blown rear differential!

Well I guess it's like they say..... you're only as strong as your weakest link. Too bad, but sounds like you've got some good parts on the way!

Re: blown rear differential!

usually an 8.8 will handle a good bit of power in stock form

Yeah it has been good for awhile but two years now and been supercharged since 10,000 miles so I've had some power for so its just a matter of time until something in the rear will go, so now just axles and ill be good to go LOL

Re: blown rear differential!

I was taught years ago , ALWAYS build your car from the axle forward....
rear end, suspension, trans , engine last
not to many people do it that way though

It happens. What kind of power are you making? I know I am at 464whp 40wtq and launch at 6k at the track stock diff. But I know guys on the stock diff with 700whp and 600wtq. No issues. Sure its just a matter of time though. I am hoping mine last the SC being installed till I order a true trac.
