Lane Change Turn Signal

My other two Fords have the new Ford smart turn signal, I added that very feature to my 2011 GT today, amazing. Just what was missing.

Wow that is too cool. I had never heard of that. So I did some re-search too cool thanks for sharing! So do you just have to press it down harder to get it to stay on at say a stop sign?

Re: Lane Change Turn Signal

Both our 2012 Edge and my 2011 Raptor have a lane change feature, if you "tap" the signal it cycles 4 times, holding it before the detent keeps it going as long as you hold it, and obviously locking it into position keeps it going until you return the wheel from a turn. I loved the tap to change lanes since I had it in my 2008 Jeep (it was the only thing I liked about the jeep).

The unit is programable (very easily too) so you can have from one to six signal cycles, and my worry was the sequential signals, because they are slower, but it was fine.

So this kit (with daunting but easy installation) gave me that feature in my Mustang!

The company who makes it, also does a few other things, like one touch top up/down, but I'm loving the turn signal!

So what's the kit called, and where did you get it?

My '11 F250 has them; and I am in total agreement with Spector. They are incredibly annoying and more trouble than they are worth.

To each his own.

Its the little things that add perceived value.

Re: Lane Change Turn Signal

Had them on the M3 and my wifes X3 has them.... annoying to me because I am clumsy and folks probably think I am indecisive about what lane I want to be in when I accidentally hit the damn thing

There is, no question, a learning curve on them. Once you "get it" they're very helpful. Especially in a stick.
