Yeah I have plenty of photos I think but u really can't have enough and the videos that Mgw made are the best examples to use but can give u the first time doing it perspective.

Cool if I did the install I would probably have to use ramps as well. Lets hope so. The MGW videos seem to leave out a few things. IDK just appears that way.

Re: MGW Short Throw Shifter

alright update to my situation is that the installation guide i generated is being pushed to dropbox right now where i will give brent the shared location so he can put the guide onto the site (appreciate your help Napoleon decided on a different route though). I also contacted mgw for a replacement knob for my stock one and they said that their 2010 race composite knob is not to their standards and they are estimating the one for the 2011-12 mustang will be available by the first of the year. From what i have gathered its a 3 piece knob coated in rubber, the metal center can be silver or chrome based on your liking but it's looking to be a nice addition.

Re: MGW Short Throw Shifter

Awesome. I'm pretty pumped about getting mine although I won't see it until Feb. I did go with the shifter that works with the oem knob. But I have already replaced my oem knob with an aftermarket.

Curious I have seen two quoted prices for the shifter which were different. And when I ordered mine they gave me a different price than the other three? Anyone know why?

Okay that sounds good. For some reason I thought you mentioned it was lower. I paid $411. Includes the heat shield, no shift knob.

Yeah that is interesting! They have been around for some time. I've ordered parts from them before for the 04 GT I owned. I always thought the quality of their products were awesome. It is worth the extra money for the good stuff. It's always quality work IMO.

I'm not sure about the gun parts. But if they build them like they do the Mustang parts, you can't go wrong. I'm looking forward to them expanding their parts list for the 2011 + Mustang.
