Superchip

I just installed a Cortex 1950 and let me tell you it made a tremendous difference. I included CAI with the install so I am trying to figure my gains....But my God it has gotten away from me a couple times ,it's like learning how to drive it all over again...But anyway on with my question. I have a 3.31 gear and for some reason superchips doesn't have that gear listed and I was wondering to get the right tire ratio to gear ratio what is the closest possible setup till I call superchips and see if they are going to do an update....I have 20's on the car and they stand 26 1/2 inches tall. My only options on gears are 3.27 and 3.55. And superchips only allows me to go as low as 28". Any suggestions please...Thanks Guys.

It's cool it's made such a difference! Your question makes me think two things. First is your positive the chip/tuner is for your cars year etc? And two are you positive of your gearing? If yes on both accounts I'd defiantly suggest calling and asking.

What two settings are you using now? And have you tried others?

Re: Superchip

I called Superchips before I purchased the Cortex 1950 and they confirmed it was for the car...Now I didn't personally look at the chunk a friend of mine did so I might just go out there and double check him....

I would call them back ask about the gear selection, and the tire height? What settings are you using?

They sell their own brand of tuners and canned tunes. Back in the day they used to sell "chips" before you could just reprogram the ECU through the OBD-II port. I don't know a whole lot about them beyond that.

Superchips confirmed everything. The rear end in the car is 3.31. Which is considered stock. My wheels and tires are considered stock. Problem solved.
