Project Strut Brace... with instructions lol

Ok here it is and it was a ROYAL PAIN IN THE REAR!!!!

1. Un-bolt the Strut Brace
2. Using a 240 grit sand paper, give it a "rough sanding"
3. Tape off the middle piece
4. Using Auto Primer, spay the entire piece and let dry
5. Paint the middle with your highlight color (red on mine) dont worry about over spay. Let it dry.
6. Mask off the entire middle... I would recommend cutting paper to fit the middle and using a very small border with the tape.
7. Paint your primary color, let dry.
8. Pull off middle masking, leave the masking on the plaque
9. Clear coat with 3-4 layers, let dry
10. Pull off the masking on the plaque,
11. Re-attach and roll like a champ.

Thanks, next will be the deck lid emblem in the rear, followed by the Billet steel Coolant tank and billet Power steering tank. I cannot stand the cheap *** looking plastic tanks

Man! That does look great! I want the billet coolant overflow tank too. I need to stay on track though, I'm saving for the Boss intake.

Re: Project Strut Brace... with instructions lol

Thanks for all the comments. I have folks that I work with now offering to pay me to do theirs..... I might just consider it as I DO need more money for MORE parts.

That's what I do!
If you go to a lot of car shows you can get a lot of attention and make bank off of it, been working well for me so far!
