Its like saying 94-95 cars should be in a different section then 96-98. In the end the 11' style will be done after 3 years, so a new section would be pointless. There is no precedent on this forum to open a new section based on a driveline change.

LOL Leave it to Dead SpOt to bring the thread back on track....

There are really only about 2 pages of relevant/on-topic posts lol but with a discussion like this it's easy to get off topic.

I do know this... I was a mod on a BMW forum and those boys are completely out of control. There could be a thread about BMW LED taillights that would turn into 15 pages of everything ranging from the weather in Cambodia to what kind of oil a riding lawnmower needed.

Lmao!! That's too funny! Topics certainly do take a side step sometimes.

Re: The section change confuses me

I just don't get what the big deal is. 2013 Mustang has a lot of different parts than the 2012 Mustang. Don't see the need to give it its ow forum. If you have a 2010 Mustang, post in here. If you have a 2011-2014 Mustang, post in here.

The 2009 Mustang looks completely different than the 2010. You can go around and around making a case for anything if you want. I was simply trying to make posting on our forums more efficient and easier on people to find what they were looking for.

I welcome suggestions, as long as it's not moving the 2010 Mustang out of this section

I agree.... With all the changes in question this is still the closest to where the 2010 belongs. If you need 4.6l questions answered seek the 05-09 section.... Everything else, electrical, interior and body is all the same.

Not every thing electric is the same(computer). The 2011 uses a different K member then the 2010 which uses the 09 and prior. Matter fact like the whole front is differnet. Including the front and rear brakes. The 2010 still uses the 05-09. SO it is actually still closer to them then a 2011+.

The 2013 uses some different bumpers and hood. rear lights. Everything else is the sameThe extra 8hp of the 13' Gt is cause of the tune.

Blah blah blah.. You're splitting hairs.. Bottom line is there is no reason for another section, and the man just said there won't be a separate section.

This is the same as arguing about why Brent has included MY's that have not even been released yet.............. his forum.........his money... his rules. Think it is a moot point

Closing so we don't beat a dead horse. I understand the points made by both sides. The 2011 guys can let the 2010 guys hang out here. If anything they sacrificed their money so ford could continue to work on the five point oh. At least let them hang out in your section!
