Your making me scared...
I just went up to 8 pounds of boost with the stage one P1 and I hit 599.62 HP.

That sucks.

I know a hand full of stock engines around 700-800whp now. How long they last is the question.

What was they A/F? How come they couldn't read boost? Also what piston was it?

#3 rod stickin out the block. Air/fuel I don't recall. Guys running dyno said it was perfect and it was a remote tune with someone else's data so they didn't have a reason to lie. I was too busy looking at all the white smoke that was filling the bay. They emailed me the run but it's in .trb file and can't open it. I'll gave them send me the pdf tomorrow.

Rather not say. Don't want to give him a bad name as he has offered to help financially with new built block.

Can you PM it...Just wondering...I am taking it wasn't Jon lund? That cool about helping flip bill. L&M built block or RGR built block...Build it right the first time and be done. These engines have made over 900whp and 1000whp.

That SUCKS.... all that "go time" and money ...up in smoke... literally. Good luck on the rebuild. Just be glad it happened on a dyno and not on the street

Just curious as to why you would intentionally want to blow your engine, tranny and rear end??? I am simple minded so maybe I am not seeing the BIG picture here. Why not pull your motor and sell it and use that money towards a forged piece???

Tranny is brand new, rear end won't blow. As for the engine yes it will and when it does I'll put forged internals in it. That's the only down fall to these cars not ment to handle boost. I will have a 800 plus summer DD that is bullet proof when I'm done. I'm a freak when it comes to this ****, the more HP the better hahaha.

With the Roush you will need a shot of nitrous.

Procharger F1 has been the only one on a 5.0 yet to make 1000whp+. I know Sean Kelley just made over 1000whp with his Paxton car. But he also has a nitrous shot and is an auto.

I hear wut you're saying but if it blows you probably won't have a block to put em into. I would do the same to mine if it weren't for the rod poking through the bottom end

Using 75's. Engine shipped from ford yesterday. Hopefully here end of next week. Slap her back together and run a canned tune for about 3 hundred miles to break in motor and new clutch then back to the dyno.
