Vortech supplies a custom tune, but only for a 100% bone stock Stang with their base blower kit. That is the one I have installed. Since you have an aftermarket intake and, probably a cold air intake, you will definitely need a custom tune specifically for your set up. You will want to have them get your car on the dyne and do air/fuel calibration. otherwise yoiu can get too lean or rich and kill your engine.

Sounds like you might as well trade it in on that gtr. I wouldn't trade it. You might just be getting done with the work!

Re: first dyno since blower

I have some OEM stuff ... if you need it I'm sure we could work something out. Stock intake, intake manifold, intake cover, air box and inlet, h-pipe with cats, mufflers and strut tower brace are some of the things I have sitting around my garage.

Why don't you just sell all the mods, put it towards the new Pony and get a 2013 Shelby....

I don't have all my stock stuff. But they are letting me switch everything over I need. So it works out. I am getting Black on Black again. Only real thing I don't have is stock cold air.

If you have a manual you might want this. Only thing I haven't installed on my car that will not switch over.

Yes I did. We was also playing with the different setting for the suspension carp. Sport/Comfort/Normal. No real difference we noticed.

Manual almost back together.

Yeah there isn't much difference in it. Not sure if you are changing it while driving, but I think there is a slight difference in them while driving. Do each one for a few miles...I think it gets a little tighter with the sport...I usually do the Normal or which ever one is the combo between the others.

I thought it only affected the EPAS.

It might only be that, I'm not sure exactly how it works. I only feel the difference in the steering and control of the car. The steering and suspension seems tighter in the sport...

I am going to stay with the stock 3.15s for now. With a 3800 stall. Maybe even a 4000 stall. Then i will decide if i like the gears from there.

Re: first dyno since blower

So how is the '12 auto? Have you driven it much before you tore into it? I have a hard time driving something without a clutch anymore ... the last time I did I was slamming the dead pedal over and over when I was stopping and actually turned the car off in drive and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't let me take the key out LOL!

Re: first dyno since blower

Drove it about 20 miles beofre tearing into it. The car has 137 miles on it. That is cause they had to go get it and bring back to me. It was about 90 miles away. I did get on it and everything. I think it might have been faster then my manual stock to stock.
