Ford Owner Website

So while I was on this site I see where I can schedule a service appt. Want to go in for trans fluid change and front end noise per TSBs.

The site works great and you get a verification number. Just being a skeptical type of guy I decided to call the dealer today, one week before the service appt, to verify.

They know nothing about it! The person I spoke to said they get faxes from Ford about these service appts. My take on it is the dealer cannot be bothered with having someone update their service appts. Makes no sense but wanted to share with all of you.

Re: Ford Owner Website

sounds like the dealer needs to pay a little more attention. set up your sync account for your vehicle health reports?

Re: Ford Owner Website

I just keep the mileage updated in it for my own reference. Personally I wouldn't trust it, even when the dealer has my information it doesn't up date the site. I think it has nothing to do with individual dealers, but rather a tool for you to use to keep tabs on your car. Personally I use a spreadsheet. Sending a fax seems pretty stone age compared to sending an e-mail. IDK though.
