Well i have searched google and everwhere i have seen shows a 10-12% lower reading on a dynamic vs a dyno jet (many comparisson tests have been done). Mine made 356.5 rwhp on a dynamics dyno which should be 392.15rwhp-399.28rwhp on a dynojet. it was also pulled in 3rd gear (since its an auto) which i believe should yeld a little bit lower hp reading but all in all im happy....

Re: Dynojet vs dynamics

You shoudl have did your pull in 4th gear not 3rd. That is another reason you are low. Your 4th gear is your closest to a 1:1 ratio.

Gear ratios
1st 4.17
2nd 2.34
3rd 1.52
4th 1.14
5th 0.87
6th 0.69
Final drive 3.15:1

You just put the car in 4th like your shifting it..run it threw the gears on the dyno

Don't need a tune to do that

From what I can find some say they are with in 3% of each other. And others say they have heard they are with in 10% of each other. Being you are an auto and dynoed in 3rd you will be lower then what should be.

What are your mods?

Some guys I found made 3-10whp with in each other on both dyno's while others made 30-40 more on a dynojet.

You can still have great drivability with a stall. You would lose about 1-2mph in the city.
