Re: 1/8 mile time

Was the dr's new then? If so next time they should do a little better.

Also your 1/4 would be around 12.8@107ish which is actually a little low for your mods. Any idea what DA was?

Re: 1/8 mile time

You can go here and find DA. DA Calculator - Density Altitude Calculator - DragTimes.com

The DR's should hook better next time out, They do a better after some passes on them. Don't be scarred to launch that car. LOL Power brake till it is about to push through the brakes.

Re: 1/8 mile time

Love DRs but, they need alot of burnout to get hot and they take alot of passes before they settle in. Doing the three pedal tap dance in the burnout box isn't ton of fun. I hold the brake, roll my right foot over onto gas and drop the clutch in second gear. Having a line lock makes embarrassing chug outs less likely, though.

I have a set of old 255/16 DRs and, I'm going to slap them on some old stang wheels and see if they'l help next season on this new car. Tough to imagine them hurting, compared to the rock hard sidewall Pirelli P Zero 19s.
