need some help

Hey guys i know I'm still new too this but recently there has been a noise coming from the lower front suspension of my 2011 5.0, and it almost sounds like something is rubbing against something. I don't know if its a loose bearing, or a control arm or something, but i remember hearing some where that there was a TSB for it ?

There is a TSB for popping/clanking when going over bumps, procedure is to replace some bushings on the front LCAs I believe. This does not sound like that ... can you be more specific?

Re: need some help

Yeah I blew my front passenger tire about a month ago, so i took it in to get change, and it was then when i noticed the noise, and the car just didn't feel the same so i took it into my mechanic who's a close friend of mine, and he looked at it and showed me that my car needed an alignment, so he fixed it for me and everything, but the noise is still there. It literally just sounds like something is rubbing against something, and now im wondering if i should just take it in to ford ?

Either that or a competent mechanic. I would get someone to look at it if you don't have any leads as to what it might be.

Had the same thing after just one week. Took it in and the dealer swapped out both control arms; no noise since.

I have a 2012 GT 5.0. It was doing the exact thing as you'd with only 300 miles!! It was the front passenger side control arm!! Had it replaced and more problem!!!
