Instlled Billet LCAs tonight

Install was pretty easy ... used plenty of lube to make sure I'm squeak free. I haven't driven it yet, the weather blows here.

Before:

After:

I want to kill the SOB that put this bolt here. Good luck getting a breaker bar in there.

I plan on zip-tie'ing the e-brake cable out of the way later, but it should be fine where it is for now.

Sorry for the poor pic quality (and misspelling the thread name lol)

Re: Instlled Billet LCAs tonight

Why didn't you run the emergency cable back through the LCA? I have done several and had no problem breaking the front bolt loose with a 1/2" drive ratchet, But then again I'm a man.....J/K

What brand LCA's?

Lol bring out the internet tough guys

I got it off with a 1/2" ratchet too, would have been very easy with a breaker bar for sure though. I didn't run the e-brake cable through the LCA because I didn't want to and I think it looks stupid.

Get a few hard pulls on them and give an update on how they hold up. I know UPR is a little cheaper but I hear good things.

Gonna be a while, my stang is grounded for the winter. I will probably have the UCA in before I get to take it for a spin. If the tax man is good to me, new wheels and tires too.

No kidding! I don't know how it is down there but it's getting crazy up here in Dayton. We're having some INSANE thunderstorms this morning. The bright side is that it's washing all the salt off the roads! Maybe I will get to pull the stang out for a shake down if it they don't re-salt everything.

Thumbs up Re: Instlled Billet LCAs tonight

I like the look of those and compared to the stock they look more
substantial. Other than tire removal and needing to remove and reinstall the parking brake line, is this simply removing the existing bolts to install the new billet piece?

Thanks,

Tom

Did you install relocation brackets as well? I got my Panhard in yesterday, going in tomorrow, so I will take a few pics of my set up with the Brackets and Lca's.

We've been getting a lot of wind, rain, and some snow tomorrow supposedly lol. Hopefully everything clears up soon...I'd like to see the sun more often.
