what are the advantages of a tune when you have a 5 speed ?

i looked everywhere and all i see is a few extra hp's. high octane gas don't make no difference when i run it now so can someone tell this hard head some goods n bad from people that actually own a tuner and which brand ? thanks

There's so many threads on "TUNERS". SCT tuner seems to be the most popular, some people prefer Diablo....Use the search feature up top to find "TUNERS" and you will find everything you need to know!

The 5-speed does not have anything to do with the tune.Unless you are auto and doing a trans tune.Running higher Octane will not benefit you much unless you tune for it.What size motor and year car?Overall yes the are gains to be had from a tune.You can get a canned tune from one of multiple vendors on here.Most use SCT.

my car looks like yours, seats n all but is a v-8 4.6 2010 gt 5 speed 373
