A How to removal....of the decklid guide
With it about 50 outside and no sun I thought it might be a PITA like some prior exp. with removals. This was actually easy. With a heat gun I started on top right corner and quickly got in with fishing twine. Right behind that I used a spatchla (sp?) as seen in the pic. I went back to heating and pulling out on it with my hand till I could feel the tension in the center mounting area from the dowel pins in there mounts. Repeated the process on the other end and now with both ends in hand just put some arm in it and it started coming on out and off. Keep in mind as a discovery....There is NO double adhesive of any type running vertical on the ends. Just straight across on the top and bottom. As for getting the left over adhesive off body/paint just roll it with your fingers the same way it was put on. Use some wax to clean and shine and get it right then do what you wanted to do.Hope this helps.
