275/40/19 for 2011 5.0

Is it to much to put 275's all around for my 2011 5.0. It has about 510 crank hp. It's a daily driver, but I also like to have fun with it. I was looking at the pirellis, same tire that comes on my brembo package, just in 275 rather than 255. Thanks.

The Pirellis suck and are overpriced. What are you wanting to do with the car other than drive it on the road?

Uh I guess I don't understand something. I thought 275 was the overal hight of the tire and 40 is the percentage that the hight is sidewall, but that's imposible because I have 275/40 17. We can't have the same hight, have the same % but diferent rims. so it must mean that my tires are shorter? What is 275?

275 is tread width, 40 is the percent of width in sidewall. So 275mm wide with a 110mm sidewall. A 275/40/18 will be taller than a 275/40/17.
