Opinions on these cosmetic mods

Hey I've been playing around with Photoshop and the Mustang customizer app. This is my current idea for cosmetic mods. Opinions are welcome. At this point the wheels are not quite right. I think Steeda black spiders would be the way to go. I'm also considering doing the over the top black in carbon fiber by using a carbon hood, roof overlay and trunk. The paint lines would remain. Brutal honesty is appreciated.

Go with Staggered wheels, All BLK. I like the BLK strip idea, but I would probably do two Thinner strips across, instead of the single wide strip. Other than that, the whole idea and everything you've done looks excellant.

Re: Opinions on these cosmetic mods

Looks good, but I would ditch the shaker and get different wheels. That's just my opinion though, get whatever you like and will be happy with. Just make sure you're never going to run FI or a different intake manifold. Cutting a hole in the hood for the shaker is a one-way mod.

Personally I like it!... But I would go with the non shaker hood scoop, and do the same rims but in black!..

But it's your ride and if this is what you like then go for it, and screw what every one else thinks!...

Re: Opinions on these cosmetic mods

Thanks for the opiniions everyone! I really appreciate it and keep them coming. I've been on the fence about the shaker as well. I grew up in the 70's and a shaker hood was WAY cool back then! I'm trying to capture the feel of a couple of different mustangs without loosing the overall car. The black out treatment is a cross betweent the 69 mach 1 and the '12 Boss. The front fascia is a painted '12 Boss piece. Personally I don't like the murdered black wheels. It reminds me of my '75 Chevy Monza with no wheel covers I have been considering a gun metal or anthricite monochrome wheel look.

I wouldn't do the murdered look on the rims!.. Just black on the spokes!.. Keep the lip polished or chromed!...

Yep wider wheels, something is just not right about the wheels, they look too small. The stripe on the hood isn't the width of the roof or the trunk lid. Either make the stripe wider on the on the hood or shorten up the width on the roof and the trunk lid. Like the colors...

I like most of it but I wouldn't do the carbon fibre stuff. Not worth it.

Ditch the shaker hood. Just don't go on a 2010+ body style.

I might do something a littly more aggressave though like a triple buterfly blower hat in sted of the stock ford style shacker but other than that a ducklip style spoiler (similar to a s-281 available for my car) and thats it.

Thanks. I still have a few more appearance mods that will be on by the end of next month, then it's on to the performance mods.

The front lower valance is a '12 Boss piece, painted to match the body. The fascia is stock '12 GT

Its only decent in tasteful doses! And clashes with majority of color schemes! And then people go all out with their chroverdosing and makes me want to vomit everywhere! Bleh!
