Its my DD, so I usually just leave it on. But when I'm at the track, I turn it completely off.

Re: Traction control

Turn it off 100% of the time. When I get my CDT I'm going to see if they can permanently disable it.

Yup ... it helps pass the time while the engine idle settles down

Re: Traction control

I actually put my seatbelt on with my left had while holding the button down with my right as to not waste the 6 seconds worth of sitting there.

Unless if it's the first start up of the day and I have to let it warm up lol.

I have it in motion where when I put my car in first my index finger goes right to the Trac off button. Lol. It's second nature now.

Alright, just to make sure I'm not crazy , but turning advance trac to sport or off seems to make the steering a little stiffer. Like the electronic assist is less.

Yes in sport mode it is suppose to bebe tighter or make you drive the car more. Advance trak off means no traction control at all. No throttle cut/fuel cut/TB cutout if spin.

If so, you would have a TCS button near in that row of buttons with your hazard lights. It was not a standard option, my 2006 V6 did not have TCS nor ABS (note: the latter is required for the former).

Because you didn't turn off ESC as well. There are four modes for the Advancetrak system. Review your owners manual, they are explained in detail. It will make perfect sense once you have done that.
