Re: Camshafts?!

couple options...comp cams has stage 1/2/3 cams. And JPC does custom cams. Stage 3 N/A cams have showed gains of about 40whp. For 1500 plus least 1000 install better to get a blower.

********I had cams got rid them and got a blower for that reason**********

Would the cams be a safer choice than the blower for somebody just trying to get 500 bwh? I mean safer for the block

Well I work for ford so the labor isnt an issue for me. I do all the work myself. But for a daily driver Tryin to make over 500hp crank. What do ya think is the best option? Probly stage 2 ?

I have a boss manifold, jlt cai, and custom tune and I'm making 505-510 crank power. No bull****. 433rwhp. Cams will put almost 500 hp at the wheels. I want some cams to. :-/

Absolutely. The blower puts vast amounts of pressure on the entire block and all of its SEALS and components. Cams are a safer way of
Goin as long as you get the right kind. That's why I'm goin with cams. Ps the wrong cam setup can be catastrophic so research the hell outta it. Good luck man

Stage 3 will be best bet for power. Combined with E85 you could make 500whp.

I would think that Boss IM, cams, headers with offroad x/h and a catback should get you 500RWHP with a CDT.

I'm looking for mid to high rpm power so I'm stayin away from the boss IM. That thing only really makes power after 6500. I'm provly gona go with cat back, headers, stage 2 cams, cai and a tune. That should put me at my goal. Btw wats CDT?

If you want mid-high rpms then you want the boss. As it shines around 4500-7800. And if doing came do the stage 3 don't waste money on stage 2.

Cdt. Is custom dyno tune.
