He keeps talking trash- should i waste my time- could i honestly win in 1/4 mile? I want to shut his trap!!!

Well if you cancel out the different drivers and are only comparing car to car.. Assuming you both hook up then i say you should win that one.. Road course maybe a diff story.. But its gonna be really close..

And "off road xpipe" means there's no cats.. It you say you have high flow cats?

I'd say that gives you a leg up having driven your car for awhile and being used to it.. Do you have a tune also?

I'm not saying you don't have what you have.. Go look on any website.. There's an off road xpipe with no cats.. Then there's a catted xpipe w cats... You have an off road xpipe w high flow cats added.. Which I realize that you basically said this in your opening post I was just asking bc when people say they have an offload xpipe 99% of the time they don't have cats.. As I said though just asking checking..

You have a catted xpipe basically.. I couldn't really see where the x and cats met up but they prolly make one xpipe for your car.. Hence the "off road" But if you want a catted x pipe they just bolt cats to it..

Take it to the track man ... street racing is unsafe and foolish. That said, it would be a close race either way. He might **** you up from a dig if he knows how to setup and use his launch control. Are you both on stock tires?

So i raced the boss 302 last night- it was close but i beat it- 3 times!!! First was by 2 cars 2nd was 1/2 car and 3rd was 1 car length and i was pulling away---so happy--- but an sti came around and i ran it (370hp he said) and i only beat it by about 1/4 car length-- it killed me off the line (awd)...

Keep in mind the STI is quite a bit lighter. If he is putting down 40 less hp and you came out on top then that's great for you man!

I'm suprised you won... the ratio alone should have doomed u. 3.31 to 3.73 is a big chunk to overcome.

Re: Boss 302 vs tuned GT

WHat gears do you have in your car? If same gears its in the driver.

As far as the STI he should have beat you if he really had 370awhp. Driver error or what ever. WHat mph did you catch him?

I raced some cars last night. 660whp 6spd manual 2011 SS up to 125 we was dead even. Then by 150 i was at his rear bumper. He has 3.73 gears to my 3.15 gears. Then a C6 GS vette with cam and 100 shot. I pulled him pretty hard.
