2012 GT Ford Racing supercharger question

I was looking at the Ford Racing catelog and I am wondering if additional internal components are required when installing this kit. It looks to me from the description that the kit only includes the supercharger hardware and necessary connection components. Also does anyone have information about durability of this system and the engine after it is installed?

If you go with the 525hp kit you get a full warranty. The 624hp kit does not.

Not with them you wouldn't need internals either. The Ford tunes are very safe.

Also they are Whipple SC. They are good.

Well...full warranty with limits. It's the balance of your 3 year b to b warrnaty and it's only valid if the clowns at a Ford dealer install the blower for you, right?

Well I'm not too worried about the vehicle warranty. In 4 years the car will have close to 200,000 miles on it when I plan on installing it. The car will essentially be retired from daily driver at that point.

I'm not sure that putting a blower on an engine with that many miles on it is wise...

Call me Mr 50,000 mile per year man I've had the car about 4 weeks and just turned 4,000 miles. It's a company car so maintenance will be impeccable.

I think the only additional parts that you have to buy that is not included in the kit is the fuel injectors. It will tell you what other parts are needed, of course that is a recommendation I believe.

200,000 miles, what the hell are you doing with that Pony???

I travel daily between northern Ohio and around southern Michigan in the auto industry. Roughly 1,000 miles per week. I love my pony time!

Well as long as you aren't on the brakes all the time, it's got to be fun.

Any Ford Techs out there. How many hours does it take to install the supercharge by a dealership?
