Custom catback

Thinkin bout gettin my buddy who does custom exhaust work to make me a cat back with mid mufflers to try and get rid of some drone. It's a 2010 gt with lt headers off road x cams and a roush blower. It sounds amazing other then the drone right around 2000 I like it kinda loud but I drive it a lot so I don't wAnt it annoying any suggestions on what mufflers? I was thinkin bout doin 3in and probably straight through mufflers

Re: Custom catback

I have GT500s on mine. Quiet idle, Nice growl when on the gas. They were to quiet when I first got them, they take a few hundred miles to break them in. Now I love them !!

I had flowmaster 40's installed and it's the best sounding exhaust I have ever had. No drone, but loud when you're on it.

Having an o/r xpipe will make those gt500s much louder
