I'm not familiar with headers for the 4.6L, but I figure you would want the 1 5/8 headers (if 1 7/8 aren't available). You'll get more exhaust flow which helps free up power, especially if you get blown.

Whoops! Sorry, I misread that. I saw 1 3/8 instead of 1 3/4 lol. Intuitively, I would think you could lose some low end torque with a bigger diameter, but gain power up top. So I would go with 1 3/4. I'm no expert though lol. I'm sure someone will chime in to correct me if I'm wrong...

Hopefully somebody chimes In Lol. A person I talked to told me with the 1 3/4 I
Would lose tourque so I'm better off with the 1 5/8. Before I make my decision I want to know my car would sound better with 1 3/4 than 1 5/8

Sound wise you will never notice difference.

I know on my G8 some people tried to say you lose tq down low with the 1 7/8 headers over the 1 5/8. Which after several people testing them it wasn't true.

If you do lose any torque it will be a insignificant amount the gains will far out weight the loss. Do it big bud!

Water methanol kit installed, and oh baby what a change it made, I can't believe how much better my car moves. I would recommend getting one if you have the means to afford it!
