Re: Drop on 5.0

AM has the best prices on rims. Them or LRS.

As far as drop I have mine dropped with eibach sportlines. not bad drop 1.4 front and 1.5 rear. I had manual dropped with H&R race springs. Was 1.4 rear and 1.2 in front or so. The H&R was a rougher ride for sure.

American muscle or either eBay has pretty good wheel prices and I imagine that the ride would prob be a bit bumpier with a lower kit

Re: Drop on 5.0

They are telling you to go to Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle - Free Shipping! and ebay.com. Also fellas, I have been going to wheelsnext.com for a while now because you can take a side shot of your car and upload it to the site, then see how wheels would look on your actual car.

Mines dropped 2 inches all the way around the ride is bumpier and you'll need caster/camber plates to get your alignment strait. www.wheelstudio.com has a huge selection of matte black wheels. That's most likely where I'll be getting mine from. Also, I www.tirerack.com has a option where you can preview wheels on your car.

Not sure effect on a newer car but I have CJ Pony springs and a 2" drop and my car rides great, very comparable to a stock comfort, I also have CC plates and aftermarket strut brace. I've ridden on other brands in other cars that ride like a horse an buggy

I'll be checking out those sites thanks! So I'm guessing eibacks drop kits aren't really that great?

Performance wise they are very good IMO but depending which kit you choose ride quality can suffer. I think the progressive rate springs offer a good balance of ride quality and performance if I remember correctly.

Eibach springs are amazing. I have the full system an the ride hasn't really gotten that much rougher. If anything it's actually smoother sometimes. Tirerack.com is definitely the best place to go. My aunt is in the wheel and tire business and I can get stuff from tire rack for the same price as her fleet discounts.

Why are you guys with sn95s chiming in on this? The S197 is a totally different ride.

Mine rides really good on the eibacks. Then again I don't have crappy low profile tires.

That makes a HUGE difference in this matter. Function over form and all that ...
