Resonator question

Hey guys,

Quick question, is it possible to install resonators on our cars the wrong way and quiet them down even more? The reason I ask is because I had removed the resonators a while back and re installed recently. My exhaust sounded normal until today. I have the Roush and they are extremely quiet. Not sure if its water or the resonators installed backwards. Any advise is appreciated!

Maybe your car just took your man card away when you put the resonators back on. Figured it should try to sound more like a Camry ...

J/K, in all seriousness I don't know if they are directional or not.

LOL! Well I noticed the resonators are smashed in from the factory. Does anyone know if the smashed side of the resonator faces towards the front of the car or towards the rear? Both resonators are smashed in but only halfway. Thanks guys

Re: Resonator question

I'll just let you know that the resonator comes smashed from the factory. I am a setup at one of the plants that makes these resonators. Any other questions feel free to ask
