I think I'm gonna go to a 275/40/19 on my Brembo rear wheels. Was wondering if anyone had bought the Falken FK 452? I like the tread pattern and they were $221.00/each at Vividracing.com. Just curious how well they hook. The Pirellis are too expensive to only last 10,000 miles

I say compare to Nitto NT555 thread pattern. Great for summer and rain. The hotter they run the better they stick. I am using rear 285/35/ZR18 Nitto Extreme. Same on the front but at 255/40/ZR17, the smaller wheel may seem dumb but it gurantees tight steering considering I have a hydro boost system. Go to Nitto.com to learn more. I had a streak of bad luck and had to replace a pair of fronts a week ago.

I have the Falken 452's. They are well priced and have a nice tread pattern. Cornering is very good, Hooking-up, well I don't think they are a good drag tire, I can spin the rears easily. Of course I'm not complaining though..lol. just not a high point for Falken. I always go with NT-555's all the way around. Good cornering and good rear traction and fair milage. I got the Falkens in a wheel/tire package. I would rate them as a good tire. IMO

| Sorry im totally out of my forum walls here... but I got mine put on last week and I love them. As stated above they handle well and make for a bit of a softer ride. Although they are sort of easy to spin. Even for a 05 sixxer like me

| Re: Tires
I am sorry but dont take this the wrong way... But it really irks me when people buy ****ty tires. I have been around tires and the shop for going on 8 years now and I cant stand it when people always give the "you get what you pay for speech" when it comes to every part but tires. (not saying you have) you will get every bit of what your spending.
I understand I work at a tire shop but I still pay an arm and a leg for tires.
The tires I have now on the DD wheels are 245 45 17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
The tires I have on the 03-04 cobras as of Tax Time are the Nitto NT555's and the DRs for the rear
and the 20's I am getting ready to buy some good tires because when I go to sell them I want people to still have a great set of tires.
Get away from the Pirelli's, and get away from the Falkens. Get yourself into some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus' and love the difference in the ride you will get. They also Have a 6 yr 45K warranty.
again not bashing just saying. hope this helps
